Jaran Ditapichai
Jaran Ditapichai (Thai : จรัล_ดิษฐาอภิชัย or จรัล_ดิษฐาภิชัย) ( - ) is a Thai political scientist, educator, writer, political activist,[1] and advocate of human rights.
Biography
Jaran Ditapichai (born in Jangwat Phatthalung, Thailand).
He was a student leader in October, 1976 and thereafter joined the Communist Party of Thailand, adopting the nome de guerre "สหายแผ้ว" (shining friend)
He was a member of the Thai National Human Rights Commission[2] but was expelled, by the National Legislative Assembly installed by the junta after their coup of 2006, on 26 September 2007.[3]
